Seesmic does not allow Viral, Satire and Parody videos that deal with controversial social issues! After I posted a parody video about @amandachapel the Failed PR blogger Brian Connolly from Strompette.com, the CEO of Seesmic Loic Lemeur warned me not to post videos with such topics! In my Parody video I put panties on my head and said I am Amanda Chapel. The Parody is to show that Amanda Chapel with her avatar of a woman having her skirt lifted shown panties is actually a Dude Brian Connolly! (Learn more about Brian Connolly)

Loic Lemeur called it a Sex video, saying it violated Seesmic TOS I do not believe my video violated Seesmic TOS and it has nothing to do with Sex! Maki ng a viral video to critique a virtual persona is not Sex. Loic Lemuer said that no Viral, Parody, or Satire of Rape, Sex, Suicide, Murder, Race, Death or any other sensitive issues are allowed on Seesmic!

Satire and parody are complex when dealing with social issues! You must read the whole conversation essay not take one sentence out of context a decide on the opinion of the writer!

I feel there is a hidden reason why Loic Lemeur told me not to post controversial viral videos!

In blogging as well is in writing we use Freedom of Speech to convey our ideas channeling content through linguistic tools as satire, parody, and viral content utilizing symbolism and metaphors! This is creative communication! Freedom of Speech is granted to us by the First Amendment of the USA Bill of Rights! Seesmic is incorporated in California USA and should respect the First
Amendment!

On my blog I write about different social issues such as society, politics, philosophy, psychology, travel and sexuality! When I use Social Media networks I respect their TOS! I do not feel I have violated Seesmic TOS but I and Seesmic have been Cyberbullied by a few people with self interests! By Loic Lemeur bending to their pressures the whole Seesmic community is to suffer because now viral, parody, and satire videos are not allowed! Are Seesmic users going to talk about dry toast and their launch one video after another?

I estimate more than half the videos on Youtube are viral, parody & satire! We as artists use this linguistic tools to express ourselves! Luckily there is alternative network that has been built, it is in private beta now! Phreadz http://blogs.zdnet.com/enterprisealley/?p=173 The Phreadz developer is from UK and built the network with no Venture Capitalist money! In his intro video he says that viral and crazy videos are welcomed! I recommended to Ted Murphy the CEO of IZEA and SocialSparks to invest into Phreadz, and I hope he listens! We need competing products not monopoly and Fail Whales!

We often cry that our rights of Freedom of Speech as granted to us by the United States Constitution under the Bill of Rights first amendment have been violated!

But do we not violate the Freedom of Speech of others? As Bloggers we block and ban other Bloggers just because we disagree with their opinions. We delete their comments from our blogs, we block them on Twitter, we block them on our Friend Feed.

Are Bloggers the biggest Hypocrites the world has seen?

If we do not guard the rights to Freedom of Speech we will lose them. I feel we have already lost them because Amerika is a Fascist State!

But the rights to Freedom of Speech are not granted to us by America, but granted to us by God! Only He giveth and He taketh!

Let me clarify myself before you think me as fallen of the Moon or snorting Glue.

Social Media freedom of expression the way we see it now will come to an abrupt stop. There clear signals for that direction already today. The Telecoms Data Caps evolving in the USA The lurking end to Net Neutrality where only selected Internet Websites will be feed to subscribers.

The day is coming mark my words. We are at the throats of Mass Media an Corporations. We are parasites to them! An attacking virus that wants to infiltrate their risk controlled environment. While a few of them are opening up to integrating Social Media with Mass Media, they are just doing it superficially. They cannot and will not open up to the utopianism of free unassailed and unbiased journalism.

They need to control and manipulate the information to the public for their own special interests. That is how Mass Media has always worked through history. Garbage in Garbage out! Mass Media feeds sensationalism and at times reports some Half Backed Truth calling it news!

Hello? Am I getting through to you? Mother Ship calling Mother Earth! We are Social Media Warriors, we attack their existence questioning their every move! We are Social Anarchist,. At certain times of our Free Loving Democratic America, we would be arrested and tried for communism! Remember Douglas Macarthur.

I hope I got you scared as shit and have you thinking about my Rant! How long will it take before Social Media is regulated, controlled and sterilized for the needs of the Mass Media, Corporations, and Governments? Well it is all depends on our ability to engage the False Prophet!

Do not give up. If there is a will there is a way! Use Social Media to advocate changes. Make the news and Mass Media will report it! Do not squabble among each other trying to prove who’s Ego is more inflated or in layman’s terms who is the Bigger Tool. ol

In my opinion what will make this even inevitable is some grave impetuous as a War in Iran. During wars information must be controlled at all costs. Just ask Joseph Stalin. He is the King of Propaganda and Social Engineering.

Yes, anyone can report anything on Twitter, but things need to be verified not taken per say. We do not want someone sending a Twitter message saying that Iran’s President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has attacked Israel with nuclear missiles, and based on this information President George W Bush declares Defcon one and retaliates against Iran with a nuclear missile strike.

So while Twitter is useful to disseminate information, that information needs to be verified through professional journalistic channels before take per authoritative value.

Robert Scoble picked up a Tweet from a Twitter user in China and has reported the even to other Twitters. There is nothing worg with this, and it is admirable. This is what Twitter does. It is an Echo Chamber! “You say, I say, we say!” The message bounces around!

The Truth and validate of the message needs to be verified or it can start World War Three based on some Rumor!

In the China earthquake case USGS NEIC is the verifiable agency! They have reported the Eastern Sichuan earthquake 3 minutes after Robert Scoble did on Twitter. But that is their job to check the integrity of the data before making it public.

I am sure there tons of Main media Websites and news services that are given great review to Twitter, as if it is a new Panacea - the cure of all malice. Well it is not!
