This post is not meant to target and criticize any one individual, but it is to criticize society as a whole.
Whenever we tell someone thier way is FUBAR they take it personally! Well even if you have thousands or millions of people saying your way is good, it may not be good for everybody! Unless you are willing to consider others who object to your ways, you are a totalitarian dictator!
Social media is a tool for self expression, so I am expressing my discontent!
April 29th, 2008 at 10:49 am
This is a FINE post Igor!
Social criticism is wonderful, social solutions are divine!
April 29th, 2008 at 10:57 am
Thanks Cao! I guess James Joyce would be proud of me.
I hope EuroYank will change his mind and come around to join the dance!

Hey Igor,
Very interesting debate indeed. Thank you for inviting me. First I agree with your last statement completely.
As for the entire debate, sure I too could sit here and tell you who I am angry with. Who I am fed up with. And, what I am fed up with. But, what good would that do for me? You personally can’t change that for me. So I take my hits, pick myself back up, and continue on.
I know you have seen many many hard times and suffered much injustice. As many have. If you search back through my posts you will find that in my lifetime I too have much to be bitter about.
I just decided to quit wasting my energy on anger and frustration. It can become an awfully hard burden to bear every single moment of every single day. And, in fact, only makes your original burden even heavier.
I don’t ignore the ills and the injustice found within every society. I think about them everyday. And, I do what I can when I can to make a difference. But, I let my anger go and chose a different path. But, don’t discount my path just because it is different from yours. It seeks to bring about change also. And, you have no clue how or what I do in my personal life to help bring about the changes I so desire in the world.
My path now is one still filled with many obstacles….and, in my youth I suffered greatly, both mentally and physically for years….extreme!!!
But, frivolous as I know you must think my posts are on my blog. For many they are a moment of release from their daily frustrations. Afterall, if you never even for a second lay your burden down then eventually IT is in control and not you.
The burdens can completely destroy from within our ability to see any good in the world at all. And, there is some good still left even if people choose to take the path of denying this fact.
I have chosen in my life, that no matter the burden, I will try my best to meet it with constructive action. As opposed to a full frontal assault filled with my anger.
A simple approach I know, from a simple minded woman. But, there you have it. This is me and my choice. And, while taking this approach I have found great friends across the plains of the anger. Many such as yourself in extremely precarious circumstances to say the least. Just that one point makes it worth it.
Together, each person who struggles for change, are in the end connected and united as one. No matter how they choose to defeat the evils of the world.
Thanks for having me in. I am so sorry if I have only left a position that you feel is in opposition and possibly even silly folley. But, it is my position.
My heart does reach out to any and all who have given up all hope. Because in reality, when you do, then it is they who will win the day. So I shall continue forward in hope. They have taken much from me also. But, I refuse to give them that. They may not have my hope!!!
April 29th, 2008 at 11:28 am
Shinade Bravo! Beautiful and pithy words from a brave woman!
I am not bitter, nor have I given up on people! It is the society that is FUBAR, not the people!
We as people need to help and educate each other to make a better society.
Thank you for opening up your heart and sharing your wisdom with us!
April 29th, 2008 at 12:46 pm
Thank you for such a response. I respect your opinion very highly. A great intellect is truly a gift that only a few have. And you my friend do have the gift!!
And yes you are correct. It will take millions of us united, exchanging ideas, sharing discourse, and respecting each other to ever bring about the changes that we all know society as a whole needs.
Gotta’ go mow!! Thanks again for the invite.

Hey igorthetroll, interesting debate, and I’ve been meaning to write about something No Police State. And your website is even more interesting to read. Hope to visit your site again in the next day or so…..
April 29th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
Hey No Police State Girl, I am glad you find it interesting!
I am from New York like you, and in the Face.
April 29th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
Hey Igor, I am trying to find your MyBLogLog page send you a posting……
interesting debate.
April 29th, 2008 at 2:39 pm
I sent you an email. You can just send me stuff there.
April 29th, 2008 at 9:05 pm
Shinade, something you wrote in your comment reminded me of one of my poems: “It will take millions of us united, exchanging ideas, sharing discourse, and respecting each other to ever bring about the changes that we all know society as a whole needs.” Also, by the way, very powerful comment!
The poem I wrote is called The One:
We are the proud,
The many, and the few,
We are the solitary one!
There is strength in the many,
As there is strength in the few,
And, always strength in the one,
Without that one, we would have none.
The one is all of us together, United!
Yes, it will take millions of us united, to become the one together. We all need to think, or at least try to think the same about our ideas, accepting the differences.
We need to put aside all of our prejudices, and start to learn to love each other, accepting each other’s diverisities, and unite. We need to come to some Cross-Cultural solutions, in doing so. Now this of course means the people, but certainly the Countries won’t have this yet, but if just normal people start to do this, the Countries will follow suit. (maybe!) However, I do believe if this could happen we all can be ONE!

To save listing lots and lots of names:
The entire UK Labour government (the wankers in “power”)
The entire opposition government (the wankers who want to be)
April 29th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
Hey Mosh, I hear you. We all have someone on our list!
April 29th, 2008 at 11:17 pm
Skye that is a beautiful poem. To the point Igor? We have Bush….can it be any worse?
April 29th, 2008 at 11:33 pm
Shinade Bush has been a real problem for America and the rest of the world. But he is not a lone, it is his inner circle that is making a mess of things. He and them deceived many true conservative Americans.
There is nothing wrong with being conservative. People values need to be respected no matter what they are. It is the extreme on either side of the aisle that is problematic in any nation.
Personal freedoms and liberties are personal, but when someone is forcing their believes on others, where is the freedom and democracy in that?
April 29th, 2008 at 11:39 pm
Bravo to you Shinade. You are certainly not “a simple woman”! No way…

Welcome Lynda. You have a very interesting and engaging blog. Will give at a read when I get a chance.
May 2nd, 2008 at 8:16 pm
Oh my, Euro didn’t really say that to you, did he??? That’s very nasty.
Funny thing, me finally getting the time to drop by your blog, all to find a nice, big finger pointing me in the face and saying “FUCK YOU”! Ha! LOL!
Listen, try not to sweat the little things in life - you know??
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
May 2nd, 2008 at 10:32 pm
Hi Kimba! I glad you like my finger.
Oh the finger is not at Euro. He is just overly sensitive guy. The finger is at institutions, corporations, and anyone that things they are very special. It is an act of civil disobedience towards society.
You know what I mean, right? Someone does not like you, just give them them the finger, and go on!
May 5th, 2008 at 12:21 pm
Seems like a picture REALLY speaks a thousand words. Hmmm…can I add my dad?
May 5th, 2008 at 12:26 pm
Oh my! What did he do to deserve that? Forgot to buy you a Ricky Martin video.
I am sure you have your reasons! Sometimes talk is cheap, just show them the finger and maybe they will understand.
May 20th, 2008 at 1:08 am
I gave someone the finger because they nearly ran me down while I was walking and I had the right of way…they wanted to get out and start a fight?!?
May 20th, 2008 at 1:16 am
nullvariable, I hear you! People like to intimidate others. It happened to me a number of times when I was living in New York.
You give someone the Finger and they want to start a fight with you! I usually stand my ground and talk to the person and walked away from the fight. But a few times there was no walking away and actually had a fight.
A fight is childish but if you have to do it, you have to do it. That is part of the animal instinct, “Defend you territory!” But I will leave this to each individual to give a Finger or not because one may get into a Fight when they do!

While I was editing Wikipedia I wrote an interesting essay about how to engage an editor, which I believe applies to real life situations with respect to relationships among people.
